Descripción
Pharmaceutical preparations of aluminum chloride hexahydrate are used to treat hyperhidrosis, a condition involving excessive sweating. It is also employed in deodorants, antiperspirant preparations, dyeing fabrics, refining crude oil, textile finishing, manufacturing parchment paper, preserving the wood and disinfecting stables. It also finds use as a reagent in organic synthesis. Aluminum chloride hexahydrate is also useful in water treatment process, medicine and cosmetic products.

AplicacionesLas preparaciones farmacéuticas de cloruro de aluminio hexahidrato se utilizan para tratar la hiperhidrosis, una condición que implica una sudoración excesiva. También se emplea en desodorantes, preparaciones antitranspirantes, tejidos de teñido, refinación de crudo, acabado textil, fabricación de papel de pergamino, conservación de la madera y desinfección de establos. Además, se usa como un reactivo en la síntesis orgánica. El cloruro de aluminio hexahidrato también es útil en el proceso de tratamiento de agua, la medicina y los productos cosméticos.
Solubilidad
Altamente soluble en agua. Soluble en alcohol, éter, glicerol, propilenglicol y acetonitrilo.
Notas
Sensible a la humedad. Mantenga el recipiente bien cerrado en un lugar seco y bien ventilado. Incompatible con ácidos fuertes.
