Descripción
Diethylamine hydrochloride acts as a precursor of atrazine and lysergic acid diethylamide. It is also used as a reactant in the production of dyes and pharmaceutical compounds such as ranitidine. Further, it is used in Mannich reaction with paraformaldehyde. In addition to this, it is employed in the synthesis of diethylaminoethyl (DEAE) cottons by reacting with cotton cellulose in the presence of sodium hydroxide.

AplicacionesEl clorhidrato de dietilamina actúa como precursor de la atrazina y de la dietilamida de ácido lisérgico. También se utiliza como reactante en la producción de colorantes y compuestos farmacéuticos como la ranitidina. Además, se utiliza en la reacción de Manlich con paraformaldehído. También se emplea en la síntesis de algodón dietilaminoetil (DEAE) al reaccionar con celulosa de algodón en presencia de hidróxido de sodio.
