Description

Used for pH measurement or titration in non-aqueous media or organic solvents. Electrode Filling Solution, Lithium Chloride in Glacial Acetic Acid, Reagecon™ is a 1M solution of LiCl in CH3COOH for filling the inner and outer chamber of refillable pH electrodes.

Lithium chloride is an ionic salt that forms a non-aqueous electrolyte solution. While potassium chloride solution is a more typical electrode filling solution, use of lithium chloride in glacial acetic acid is indicated when the electrode is to be used in non-aqueous media and organic solvents.
