Descripción
Platinum, 10% on carbon, is used as a catalyst for the hydrogenation of alkenes, alkynes, nitro groups, ketones and aromatics. It is also used for hydrogenolysis of cyclopropanes. It is involved in the catalyzes oxidation of alcohols.

AplicacionesEl platino, 10 % sobre carbono, se utiliza como catalizador para la hidrogenación de alquenos, alquinos, grupos nitro, cetonas y aromáticos. También se utiliza para la hidrogenólisis de ciclopropanos. Está involucrado en la oxidación catalizadora de alcoholes.
