Descripción
- Strep-Tactin™XT Superflow™ is a 6% agarose coupled with the streptavidin variant Strep-Tactin™XT and applicable for purification of Strep-tag™II or Twin-Strep-tag™ fusion proteins.
- As with any other Strep-Tactin™XT resins, the unspecific protein binding is extremely low, which results in an outstanding purity of the target protein.
- In comparison to Strep-Tactin™ Superflow™, Strep-Tactin™XT Superflow™ has a higher affinity for Strep-tag™ fusion proteins, which leads to an improved immobilization and purification.
- In addition, Strep-Tactin™XT Superflow™ allows the application of denaturing agents such as urea during the purification procedure.
- The suspension is suitable for packing of gravity flow columns since the resin is optimized for column affinity chromatography, rather than for batch purification.
- To pack a column with 1 ml resin bed volume, 2 ml 50% suspension are necessary.
