Descripción
Protein purification reagent Triethanolamine acts as an organic additive in the grinding of cement clinker and as a complexing agent for aluminum ions in aqueous solutions. It is used as an emulsifier and a surfactant. It finds application in common products like dishwashing liquids, general cleaners, hand cleaners, shaving cream, metalworking fluids, liquid laundry detergents, paints and printing inks. It is used for the neutralization of fatty acids and adjusting buffer pH as well as utilized to dissolve oils. It acts as an effective complexing agent in electroless plating. Further, it is used in hair care products like hair dyes and wave sets.

AplicacionesLa trietanolamina es un reactivo de purificación de proteínas que actúa como aditivo orgánico en el proceso de triturado del clínker de cemento y como agente complejante para iones de aluminio en soluciones acuosas. Se utiliza como emulsionante y surfactante. También está presente en productos comunes, como lavavajillas líquidos, limpiadores genéricos, productos para limpiar las manos, espumas de afeitar, líquidos de metalurgia, detergentes líquidos de lavandería, pinturas y tintas de impresión. Se utiliza para neutralizar los ácidos grasos y para ajustar los amortiguadores de pH, así como para disolver aceites. Actúa como un eficaz agente complejante en la galvanización. Además, se utiliza en productos para el cuidado del cabello como tintes y productos para permanente.
Solubilidad
Miscible con agua, metanol, acetona, éter, tetracloruro de carbono, n-heptano y cloroformo. Ligeramente soluble en éter de petróleo.
