Descripción
4'-Methylacetophenone is used as a flavoring agent. It reacts with morpholine to get 4-(p-tolyl-thioacetyl)-morpholine in the presence of sulfur as a reagent. Further, it is used as an intermediate in the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, perfumes and cosmetics.

AplicacionesLa 4′-metilacetofenona se utiliza como agente aromatizante. Reacciona con la morfolina para obtener 4-(p-tolil-tioacetil)-morfolina en presencia de azufre como reactivo. Además, se utiliza como intermediario en la fabricación de ingredientes farmacéuticos activos, perfumes y cosméticos.
