Descripción
Ethyl chloroformate is used as derivatization reagent to investigate stereochemical conversion of chiral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs during derivatization reaction. It is also used with ammonia and cyanuric chloride to convert carboxylic acids to nitriles. It is used to develop flexible template strategy for the generation of nanometer-scale templates via dip-pen nanolithography.

AplicacionesEl cloroformiato de etilo se utiliza como reactivo para investigar la conversión estereoquímica de fármacos antinflamatorios quirales no esteroideos durante la reacción de derivatización. También se utiliza con amoníaco y cloruro cianúrico para convertir ácidos carboxílicos en nitrilos. Se usa para desarrollar una estrategia de patrones flexibles con la que se consigue crear plantillas a escala nanométrica gracias a la técnica de nanolitografía dip-pen.
